Gonadorelin Description :
1. Gonadorelin is another name for gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It is a synthetic decapeptide prepared using solid phase peptide synthesis.
2. GnRH is responsible for the release of follicle stimulating hormone and leutinizing hormone from the anterior pitutitary.
3. GnRH is available as gonadorelin hydrochloride )and gonadorelin diacetate tetrahydrate for injectable use.
4. Studies have described it being used via an infusion pump system to induce ovulation in patients with hypothalamic hypogonadism. It is also used in veterinary medicine as a treatment for cattle with cystic ovarian disease.
Gonadorelin Application :
1. Gonadorelin is responsible for the release of follicle stimulating hormone and leutinizing hormone from the anterior pitutitary.
2. In the pituitary GnRH stimulates synthesis and release of FSH and LH, a process that is controlled by the frequency and amplitude of GnRH pulses, as well as the feedback of androgens and estrogens.

1. Gonadorelin, also known as GnRH or LHRH, is produced by neuroendocrine cells within the hypothalamus. The hormone is secreted pulsatilely.
2. Gonadorelin induces the release of LH and FSH from the anterior pituitary. After a transient increase, continuous administration of gonadorelin results in downregulation of LH and FSH levels followed by a suppression of ovarian and testicular steroid biosynthesis
